The use of instructional text to stimulate behavior and promote an awareness of the body and mind harkens to Bruce Naumans Body Pressure, 1974. A soothing soundtrack plays within the space. Jack Goldstein appropriated "atmospheric" electronic music collected from special effects sound libraries. These imaginary soundtracks for distant heavenly bodies, or planets are re-appropriated by Alexa Gerrity in a (mirroring effect) to further promote the self-help context.
